Guidelines - Everything your artwork needs before it ships to press

Colors

Don't let your colors get lost in transit

Your screen speaks RGB, but our presses speak CMYK. If you send us RGB artwork, colors can shift during the "translation" and your vibrant red might arrive looking more like a tired orange. Convert your files to CMYK before uploading and what you see will be a lot closer to what you get. Think of it as quality control before your box even hits the press.

Not sure about your colors? We'll check them for you — free of charge.

File formats

Ship us the right files, we'll handle the rest

Vectors are king — send us your artwork as EPS, PDF, or AI with fonts outlined, and your box will print razor-sharp at any size. Got photos or raster graphics? No problem, just make sure they're at least 300 DPI so nothing looks pixelated when it rolls off the press. Low-res files are the cardboard equivalent of a soggy box — they just don't hold up.

Not sure if your files are print-ready? Send them over and our team will take a look.

Fonts

If you can't read it, neither can your customer

On screen, you can pinch and zoom. On a box, what's printed is what you get. Keep all text above 9px — anything smaller and your fine print becomes no print. Fancy cursive and ultra-thin fonts might look great in your design app, but they tend to lose their crisp edges once ink hits corrugated board. When in doubt, go bold and legible. Your box has one shot to make a first impression.

Need a second pair of eyes? Our prepress team reviews every order before it goes to print.

Dieline

Your box blueprint — unfold and design

A dieline is the flat template of your box before it's folded. Think of it as the floor plan for your packaging. Download the template for your box size below, drop in your artwork, and you're ready to go. Just make sure to extend your artwork 1/4" past the cut lines (that's the bleed) so there are no white edges after trimming. Nobody wants half a logo.

Prefer to skip the template? Design directly in our 3D configurator or send us your artwork and we'll handle the rest.

Can't find your size or structure? No problem, contact us and we'll be happy to help you find the right template.
