Built on over 70 years of packaging expertise, Packwire launched in 2016 with a simple idea: custom packaging shouldn't require 10,000 unit minimums or a degree in print production. We saw an industry built around large-scale manufacturers and long lead times, where small businesses were either priced out or forced to settle for generic brown boxes. Automated cutting machine shaping custom box dielines

CAD & Laser Cutting

Our digital laser cutting system pairs an array of high-powered CO₂ lasers with a digital creasing unit — cutting, creasing, and stripping in a single inline pass. Unlike traditional die cutting, the cutting and creasing patterns are fully independent: each sheet can have a different cut pattern without retooling. The result is sub-millimeter accuracy on fine details that steel rule dies simply can't achieve, at speeds of thousands of sheets per hour.

FedEx^®, UPS^® & LTL Freight

Smaller orders ship via FedEx® or UPS®. Larger orders go LTL Freight for the best rate. Our system calculates optimal pallet configurations and compares carrier rates in real time so you always get the fastest, most affordable option.

Sustainability

Better packaging, smaller footprint.

Cardboard, Not Plastic

Every box we make is corrugated cardboard. It's plant-based, biodegradable, and one of the most recycled materials on earth. Corrugated recovery rates in North America consistently exceed 90%. When your customer is done with the box, it goes in the recycling bin, not a landfill.

Recycled Content

Our corrugated board contains at least 50% recycled content. The fibers in your box have likely lived several lives already, and they'll go on to live more after you're done with them.

Solvent-Free Inks

We print with UV-curable inks that contain no solvents and produce no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). They cure instantly under ultraviolet light, eliminating the need for heat drying and the emissions that come with it.

Zero Overruns

Traditional printing requires test sheets, plate calibration, and overproduction to account for setup waste. Digital printing doesn't. We print exactly what you order, nothing more. No excess inventory, no boxes that end up in the dumpster.

No Plates, No Dies, No Tooling

Conventional packaging requires metal printing plates and steel rule dies, all of which are manufactured, used, and eventually discarded. Our digital process eliminates both entirely. That's less metal waste, fewer chemicals, and lower energy consumption per order.

Right-Sized Packaging

An oversized box means more material, more void fill, and more fuel to ship. We let you order any custom size, so your box fits your product without the waste. Our Box Size Optimizer helps you find the smallest box that works, reducing materials and shipping costs in one step.
