Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: March 20, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Packwire Inc is committed to ensuring that packwire.com is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We take our obligations under federal and state accessibility laws seriously. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website for everyone.

2. Accessibility Preferences

Use the controls below to adjust the website to your needs. Your preferences are saved automatically and will persist across pages.

Some preferences may not apply to all parts of the site. If you need assistance, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

3. Conformance Standards

Packwire aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines provide a widely adopted framework for making web content more accessible to people with a broad range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

We endeavor to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as well as the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) for our Canadian operations.

4. Accessibility Features

Packwire has implemented the following measures to support accessibility on our website:

  • Semantic HTML: We use heading structures and semantic elements such as sections and lists to support screen readers and assistive technologies. We are working to improve our use of landmark roles across all pages.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Core functionality such as forms, navigation menus, and links is accessible via keyboard. We are working to ensure all interactive elements, including custom controls, are fully keyboard-operable.
  • Text Alternatives: We provide alternative text for meaningful images so that screen readers can convey the content to users who cannot see them.
  • Color Contrast: We aim to maintain sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background elements to ensure readability for users with low vision or color vision deficiencies.
  • Resizable Text: Our website supports text resizing through browser zoom. We are working toward adopting scalable font units across the site to better support user font-size preferences.
  • Form Labels: Form fields include descriptive labels and instructions to assist users who rely on assistive technologies.
  • Focus Indicators: We are working to ensure that all interactive elements have visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation. Some areas of the site may not yet have sufficient focus styling.
  • Dyslexia-Friendly Font: We offer a dyslexia-friendly font option through the accessibility preferences above, which applies increased letter and word spacing site-wide to improve readability for users with dyslexia. This feature uses OpenDyslexic — thank you to the OpenDyslexic project for making this font freely available.

5. Configurator Accessibility

Our online Configurator is a complex interactive design tool that allows Customers to customize packaging specifications and upload Artwork. While we strive to make the Configurator as accessible as possible, some features—such as drag-and-drop design placement, real-time 3D previews, and advanced color selection tools—may present challenges for users relying on certain assistive technologies.

If you experience difficulty using the Configurator, please contact us directly and our team will assist you in completing your Order. We are committed to ensuring that all Customers can access our products and services regardless of ability.

6. Ongoing Efforts

Packwire is committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of our website. Our ongoing efforts include:

  • Conducting periodic accessibility audits in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards;
  • Training our web development team on accessibility best practices;
  • Incorporating accessibility considerations into the design and development of new features;
  • Engaging with users who have disabilities to better understand their needs;
  • Monitoring and addressing accessibility issues as they are identified.

7. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of our website may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to address them:

  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers;
  • Certain third-party content or plugins embedded on our website may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA standards;
  • Some interactive elements within the Configurator may have limited compatibility with certain assistive technologies.

We are working to resolve these issues and welcome feedback from our users to help prioritize improvements.

8. Third-Party Content

Our website may contain content provided by third parties, including payment processors, shipping calculators, and embedded media. While we encourage our partners to adhere to accessibility standards, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content. If you encounter accessibility barriers with third-party content on our website, please contact us so we can work toward a solution.

9. Applicable Laws

This accessibility statement has been prepared with reference to the following U.S. federal and state laws, as well as applicable Canadian and international standards:

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): Title III of the ADA prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in places of public accommodation, which has been interpreted by U.S. courts to include commercial websites.
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act: Requires federal agencies and organizations receiving federal funding to make electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities.
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1: An internationally recognized set of guidelines developed by the W3C for making web content more accessible. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard referenced by the ADA, Section 508, and most state-level accessibility laws.
  • State Accessibility Laws: Various U.S. states, including California (under the Unruh Civil Rights Act) and New York, have enacted or enforced accessibility requirements for commercial websites. Packwire endeavors to comply with all applicable state-level accessibility obligations.
  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA): Requires organizations operating in Ontario, Canada to meet specific accessibility standards, including the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) for web content.
